Most common floor-trader formula — (H+L+C) ÷ 3.

Use the previousperiod's H/L/C (daily, 4H, weekly). Pivots are reference zones — not buy/sell signals. Qorix desks use systematic rules, not manual pivots.
01

What is PP?

The pivot point (PP) is the central balance of prior high, low, and close. Price above PP often reads bullish intraday; below PP, bearish — context only.

02

R vs S levels

R1–R3 are resistance zones above PP; S1–S3 are support below. Camarilla adds R4/S4 for tighter scalping bands.

03

Pick your method

Classic is the default most desks know. Woodie favours close. Fibonacci maps golden ratios of the range. Try the preset that matches your pair.
